DATA-X are actively looking for sponsors or supporters for the Pioneering Research Data Exhibition which will take place at the Edinburgh College of Art sculpture court in late November/early December 2016.

PhD research students from across the three Colleges of the University of Edinburgh will be working with open data, open tools, open minds to develop multi-disciplinary data ‘installations’ (digital sculptures, simulations, performances, interactive exhibits, 3D structures, machinery, visualisations). If you would like to sponsor the exhibition, an installation, or contribute support to the event please get in contact.

We are also seeking data skills and training opportunities for our PhD researchers such as coding, processing, printing, cutting, forging, computing, visualising, carpentry. Please get in contact if you help us.

We would also like to reach out to data providers. Please get in touch if you have a data source that would lend itself to innovative multi-disciplinary research or a data source that you’d like to feature as part of the exhibition.
